Aligning Egypt’s Digital Developments and Infrastructure
for Better Road Transport
The development of digital infrastructure needed to be complimented with the necessary tools, spaces and trained individuals, to align all aspects of traffic and transportation management in Egypt. This is applies as a crucial element in changing the culture of driving in Egypt to allow for a safer and more holistic experience.
Along with the RFID service, GO+ has provided a comprehensive service that provides end-to-end solutions for citizens to acquire licenses through its DLCs (Driver Learning Centers). Trained professionals will teach laws and assess driving skills of new and formerly licensed citizens, alongside law enforcement personnel, in order to assure the safe and informed driving capabilities of motorists. This will abide by the standards of SGS (Société Générale de Surveillance) and Swedish Road Authority to ensure a suitable baseline of knowledge and training that creates safe and responsible drivers. This platform will streamline driving capabilities to match the greatly improved infrastructure that Egypt has seen this half decade.
VIC (Vehicle Inspection Centers) have also been developed to allow for a smooth process for the renewal of vehicles and the registration of new ones in order to provide better quality service to the public. 90 of these DLC and VIC centers have been built and established across the entirety of Egypt to assure their easy access to the public. Automation of the VICs will aid in the simplifying of payment of registration and traffic fines, and keep threshold standards such as Carbon Dioxide emissions in line. The new standards will keep motorists and their vehicle information aligned and stay updated with regards to driver information in order to avoid more infractions .This system will encompass all motor vehicles to include private, motorcycles and transport vehicles to ensure road safety and quality. GO+ is working hand-in-hand with the government to provide the organizational structure to aid the progress of established policies that are a part of the future of Egypt. Through these advancements, inefficiencies and waste will be truly eliminated and allow for the development of newer and more progressive solutions to aid the growth of a better Egypt.
